What profane wretch art thou? - Quite a bad one. Just kidding! I actually chose the blog's title in honour of Shakespeare's Othello. I came across this sentence in Act I and I couldn't help but smile. I love the (now) archaic way it was phrased. I take little things like this as evidence that studying philology - "love for the word" - is definitely my path. So let's see if I can manage to put that to good use for the future - be it for this blog or in general.
